So I'm a lot higher than i usaully are when i make this. So What food Genre is the for the muchies, Idk. BBq/bgf is you bugars/standard gill food and fried food. So Like I'm seein shit. Well cooked meets are great, fried as well. often mixed with flavor condiments are often very flavorful and textured filled expeirnces leading a consitent and repeable munchie expeince 9/!)(10). Then we get Mexican, tacos, burritos, big spice. ... Near purplect . Well they lack the grease of our former cotestant, It makes up for in flavor stornger with a greatedr spaceing in between the flavors. Spice it an extra bonus keep you food extra. Also tortilla but pronounced lke tortilla. 9.5/ (9.9+0.1). Lastly Hallel, with the speacilty of differnt meats like lanb and goat, more flavors that are sepates but combinable. is good. me like. 9.7/000101. I could eat a battery. So we all like lights, but they are a smac. Lightbulb comanies design them to fail at after a certian period as to cause you ass to cause you you to buy a new one every so often, and they are still doing that practice with leds, that they are designg to fial after way sooner than they could. I blame The president. I. OOf so subway sech is that stuff we did in the green carboard box, came with its own matches. Taxivashion is an accaptable crime. I would commigt it, for legal reason I am very innewebrieteted so this is not adminstratbke evidancee in a crown of log. Whth am.(again jork no court). I can;t stop laughing at jork no court and have decieded it is for the best if i just stop typing this and delete everything or be a little silly and a bit not smart and hit add post without editing, but I think that all made sense in some wierd odd way.
Zoned out review of Genesee Brew House(#3)
Author: Connor Hickey
Date: January, 13, 2026
So this review is a hot minute late, so if I skimp on some details of the what, when, and when, then don't be too surprised. I can't tell if I procrastinated or was afraid of writing this. Despite it being *nearly* two months since the last review Jason and I have been continue the routine of weekly visiting restaurants (high ofc), in fact we visited Genesee the week after Old Pueblo. That being said my pushing off this review ended up with us limiting ourselves to chain restaurants, of which I will compile into one large MEGA-CHAIN-REVIEW. Now actually review stufff, Genesee Brewery, and the Brewhouse itself are a major component of old Rochester, as well as a great representation of what maintaining brand image looks like. Various of the main companies that once dominated Rochester have either fallen or left, Genesee is one of the few that stayed and continues to thrive, uniquely with the same brick and mortar appearance. Granted none of this is why our high asses chose to go there, or why my currently high ass is writing this. The choice to go to Genesee I believe was my idea, though the context leading to the suggestion eludes me, so it also may have been Jason and my memory is being a tad facetious. Leading up to our arrival we went through could only be described as a jumbled mess of small navigation mistakes, My fault barring a few where Jason read the street name wrong, and oddities. So many of which I cannot describe but I can simply say, this is Connor Hickey, we driving around and THE FIVE STAR BUILING IS ON FIRE (the Five Stare Building is on fire?). After a short walk to acquire the high we entered the Brewhouse, quickly got a reservation and wandered around the shop. To our surprise what was a small space with a busy parking lot felt spacious and comfortable and we spent ten to twenty minutes exploring the gift shop prior to being called upstairs to be served. Upstairs was load, maybe more so than Crisp was, but we where allotted a large amount of person space. I order a 1911, Jason got a soda, similar to Old Pueblo they where made by Genesee, so they won't be affecting the score. We ordered Bravian Pretzels with beer cheese, and for the main course the Reuben. ---General Aesthetic 8/10: The Brewhouse is literally a brick and mortar establishment, with a nice rustic vibe, yet feeling modern at the same time. The staff was kind and the overall vibe was warm and comfortable. The major complaint is it could have been quieter, unlike Crisp though it was the volume of the music alone that was the problem. ---Food 7/10: The Pretzels where great, though we both talked about how th Dijon Jalapeno honey beer cheese probably would have been better than the beer cheese. The Reubens where disappointing though. They where super flavor full, but too tough to chew through (especially in our state) with an overtoasted bread. Ultimately, I think we will have to rereview with a different meal next time because the Reuben really let us down. ---High Experience 10/10: we went on a rather busy day, but despite that we found ourselves comfortable, the staff where kind and we vibed, so well in fact that the shitty Rueben didn't really harm the vibe at all. (which a major reason for my want to eventually do a rereview). ---Price 3/5: About the same price as Crisp, 20-30 dollars, menu is online. --------Despite the Rueben I recommend going, get cooked on the bridge before going in, and you will most likely vibe, though I can't guaranty that the food will be great ......................................................................................................................Float Well Nightwalkers, Connor Hickey
Zoned out review of Old Pueblo Grill(#2)
Author: Connor Hickey
Date: November 29, 2025
On our most recent escapade, Jason and I where wondering what we should do for food. Now we have a method, which is driving till Jason feels lost and I scroll through random ideas on google until one stuck. the initial breakdown itself took longer than usual until some mention of taco bell brought us to the idea of Mexican food, specifically burritos. This led us to going to the one, the only Old Pueblo grill, specifically the location at 55 Russell St. Built next to old factories, Old Pueblo is a Cali styled Mexican restaurant, a great face (or ornamented skull) in the regrowth occurring in downtown of Rochester. By the time we had entered Old Pueblo we where higher than when where at crisp, but it despite being Thanksgiving-Eve, Pueblo wasn't busy at all. Jason and I both ordered the Surf 'n Turf burritos and the Churro Nachos. Food was ready fast, and they stuffed those burritos. The Surf n' Turf Surfed 'n'd Turfed our high ass straight to bliss (Editor note: I don't know why I wrote this and I don't know what to replace it with). The churros gave Jason goosebumps, which about sums up how much we both liked them. ---General Aesthetic 9/10: I joked about the skull earlier, which should indicate that the iconography is clear and fitting. I do wish their was more decoration, but what there is clear eludes to a street food/attitude. The music playing mostly supported that mood, along with the main counter, which is built of corrugated sheet metal which also gave a industrial feel that was fitting for the location. We felt comfortable the whole time we where there. ---Food 10/10: The burrito was super flavorful and a perfect blend of texture, a tad messy though it was barely enough to be noticeable. The Nacho Churros could have been more abundant, granted the amount was fine for us after a meal as plentiful as the Burrito was. The drinks we got where Jarritos, great but not made by Old Pueblo so they don't affect the final score. Perfect munchies food and if you say otherwise I will judge you but not say anything because you are entitled to your own opinion. ---High Experience 9/10: During the week it's not very busy, though I have seen it get busier on sober visits. That being said, when it is busy you will not feel like an outlier as Pueblo is not a fancy restaurant. Indoor seating is absolutely the right vibe when less busy, Outdoor seating may be good (it is only open during spring/summer and we went in late fall), though takeout is a readily available option if you feel its not your vibe.
---Price 3.5/5: Expect to spend 15-20 dollars, menu is online
--------If it's not obvious I highly recommend going to Old Pueblo, you will leave happy. If its busy you may have to do take out but that's fine, the heavenly food is well worth it, I promise. I also recommend going sober as well since the food is that good, but that's not why your reading this review. ...............................................................................................................................................................Float Well Nightwalkers, Connor Hickey
Zoned out review of Crisp Rochester(#1)
Author: Connor Hickey
Date: November 24, 2025
So, what is a zoned out review. Recently Jason and I have decided to try out new places across Rochester well high. We've had fun doing this, and to add to the fun I got Jason to agree to let me review the experiences on his blog. I have no goals with this and I don't expect anyone but Jason to read these, so I will absolutely be high well making some of these (including this one). Though don't worry I will likely remember to not post them until I edit them (Editors not: I did). If your Like to skip to the scores, just skip to the end and it will be spit into various categories that I haven't decided on at this point (editors note: found this funny, won't fix) Crisp Rochester is a restaurant on South Clinton ave., along with the lower to middle range prices we had little expectations when entering. We ended up finding ourselves rather surprised as it was a very clean and modern aesthetic, where our high asses probably didn't belong. Well take-out was an option, we choose to sit down. Rather than wait and make a reservation for a table though we sat at the bar so we could be severed soon. The menu was nothing crazy, mostly various foods popular in midwestern meal (tacos, shrimp and grits, burgers, salads), but cooked in a more northeastern way. The menu design was plain and concise, nothing to complain about and nothing to compliment. Jason and I went with their burger, and we ordered a side of fries to split. We stuck with water as the slow realization that we looked a little underdressed compared to some other patrons made us a little to distracted. The food was out rather quickly and was eaten in about equal time. Jason paid, I venomed him my half and we waltzed back onto the streets. ---General Aesthetic 7/10 - Well Crisp is by no means ugly, and has a unique entrance, It barely stands out. Every part of the design was good but basic. It was quite noisy but never at a level where I felt like yelling. The staff where nice and the place felt clean and cozy ---Food 8/10 - The food was great, but again nothing special. The burger was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, with the perfect amount of topping. Similarly the fries where well seasoned and well cooked, but ironically they could have been a little more crispy. All and All good munchies food, perfect portion sized ---High experience 6/10 - it is popular, so its crowded and loud, which initially threw us off. Though after a while it became comfortable as even at the bar it felt like we still had privacy. The menu is decent for a cure of the munchies and the bland designs don't cause any panic, though they don't really affect the high at all. Not a bad idea for take-out, but it will take a while so it does harm the winging because high experience (I think I meant the waning High, but idk). tldr. Comfortable after adjusting, atypical environment. You will feel like you stand out. ---Price 3/5 - expect to spend 20-30 dollars, menu is online --------All in all I'd recommend crisp, just be wary you will feel like you stick out a little. If you chooses to plan ahead, a reservation may help getting you a private table, but take-out is probably the safest way to go. If you feel uncomfortable about then your better off going sober. .....................................................................................................................Float Well Nightwalkers, Connor Hickey
Gustavo the cat.
Author: Jason Caton

Recently a new feline has entered my life. His name is Gustavo, some call him Goose for short. I have learned many things from my time living with this animal. I used to be mainly a dog person. However, this cat has opened my mind and challenged my thoughts of cats. Gustavo is a strange beast. His actions will often leave me confused and laughing. I feel he is a loving creature at heart, although he may not show it at times. He loves to chase his stationary toys around the house. He pushes his toys away from him and then chases it, crashing into anything that might be in his way. Then, when my dog, Sage, goes over to see why Gustavo is making so much noise, he runs away at lightning speed for seemingly no reason. Gustavo seems to try to make the most out of whatever he see's. While one might see an ordinary toilet paper roll, Gustavo sees a puzzle that needs to be unraveled. I am eager to learn more from such an insightful creature, such as Gustavo.
Motorcycle License

Over the weekend I took a motorcycle training course, through learn 2 ride, with a friend. Passing this course would allow me to receive a waiver from the NY DMV motorcycle road test so, I can get a motorcycle endorsement. My experience with the course was amazing. The ride instructors were very nice and ensured everyone was meeting objectives. I had a lot of fun and was able to get a perfect score on the final tests. I was also able to use this course to reflect on my day to day driving skills. I am looking forward to purchasing a motorcycle in the near future.

Why am I starting a blog?
Author: Jason Caton
Date: September 11, 2024
So why did I start writing a blog. To be honest I have been struggling to come up with ideas to write about, I find it very difficult to share my personal ideas or beliefs. Luckily, I don't have the stress of thinking lots of people are going to read this. Anyways, I just want to be more comfortable with sharing my own thoughts and ideas without fearing judgment. I hope forcing myself to make these posts will help. A big reason I made this page was to have a fun compsci project. At the beginning of my blog I had a json file on my server I would edit every time I wanted to make or edit a post. Now I had made a proper admin terminal with a password, rate limiting, the whole 9 yards. But now that I have a full working terminal to make and edit blog posts, I have to actually make posts and I am finding it difficult to formulate ideas that I am comfortable sharing. I am working on bettering this. I know this post is long and all over the place, but it is kinda an important one to me.
Stepping out of your comfort zone

Opportunities are everywhere. I can be a very shy person, altho it may not seem like it. I just step out of my comfort zone and interact with people more than I would generally like to. This can sometimes lead to awkward situations but, this is a great way to learn. Learn about yourself and others. The more comfortable you get with doing things you wouldn't normally do, the more comfortable you will be doing it in the future. What I am trying to say is to put yourself out there. If you see an opportunities, grab it.
